About Worker Bee Supply
Worker Bee is a small video (5 person) commercial photo and video production company in Toronto, Canada. We do a large variety of work from short corporate b-roll and talking head videos to scripted commercials with talent, and everything in between.

We’re looking to add a bilingual video editor to our small, collaborative team. You can expect a variety of projects from all types of clients such as large corporations, small businesses, non-profits, and individuals.
French & English Speaking
We are working on more and more videos that have both a French (Quebec French) and English elements to them need an editor that is equally comfortable editing in both languages. While most work is in English we often make French language versions of videos, video where both languages are spoken. As well as titles and captions in both languages.
Position Summary
Our team is hiring a part-time video editor who will be responsible for editing a variety of video types using Davinci Resolve Pro.
We’re looking for an established video editor who is excited to join a growing small business. This remote role requires excellent communication and time management skills as we work together to complete projects on time and wow our clients.
Requirements
Edit in DaVinci Resolve Pro - we will use the cloud sync to collaborate.
Excellent communication and time management skills
Ability to ask questions and receive feedback
Effectively and accurately communicate and follow timelines
Identify issues and delays in advance
Excellent mastery of English AND French
Be able to cut together a wide variety of video styles such as;
B-roll event videos
Dynamic narratives from long interview clips
Snappy product videos
Narrative videos from a storyboard
BTS and other YouTube videos
Reels / TikTok style videos
A keen ear for finding good music and cutting to a beat
Work with basic titles in Davinci Resolve, motion graphics not needed
Comfortable in Photoshop and Illustrator to be able to open and export client files for use in Davinci Resolve
Good sense of design, timing, and narrative
Work closely with senior editor and producer
Bonus: Basic colour on Sony sLog3 footage
Role Details
Remote Contract, 24 - 32 hours/week (open to discussion)
Ideally Based in Ontario or Quebec (we’re in Toronto)
6 month contract position with the possibility of extension
2 month probation period
